Chennai Love Story Story Overview
The story revolves around Nivedita (Sri Gouri Priya) who gets heartbroken when her fiancé, Arun, breaks off their marriage at the altar. She is unable to bear this situation and goes into depression and starts drinking. In an attempt to help her move on from this stage in her life, her friends take her to Chennai. There she comes across Steven Shankar (Kiran Abbavaram), who is a positive and innocent orphan boy trying hard to realize his dream of becoming a successful movie director.
They belong to different worlds but the strange meeting helps bring them together. The story deals with love and emotional healing and talks about the power of dreams in our lives. As their lives get entangled with each other, the story focuses on love, emotional upheavals and hurdles in their lives.

"Chennai Love Story" is an effective movie because it centers on its characters and their emotions. The film allows room for the protagonist duo to develop their relationship, and the disparity between Nivedita’s agony and Steven Shankar’s naïve optimism makes for an intriguing contrast.
The first half of the movie is apparently one of the better halves of the film. The music by Mani Sharma is one of the technical strengths of the movie. Situational songs are good in some parts of the story and enhance the emotional feel of the story.
