The actor recently posted a picture from Paris, posing in front of the iconic Eiffel Tower. Along with the photo, Hrithik reflected on a question he was asked about the type of role he is currently looking for in his career.
According to the actor, the answer surprised even him. He revealed that he would instantly accept a role similar to Zaffar, the arrogant movie star he portrayed in the film Luck By Chance.
Missing the Opportunity to Play Flawed Characters
In his caption, Hrithik explained that filmmakers often approach him for positive and heroic roles. While he appreciates those opportunities, he feels that directors largely see him as a “good guy” on screen, limiting his chances to explore more layered and imperfect characters.
The actor jokingly expressed disappointment that he is rarely offered roles with darker or more complex shades, despite his interest in portraying them.

Hrithik’s post attracted attention from filmmaker Siddharth Anand, who left a brief but intriguing comment: “Let’s do it.” The interaction immediately sparked speculation among fans that the actor and director could be discussing a future project featuring Hrithik in a grey or anti-hero role.
