Kapila, who arrived on the show from Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, spoke about alleged domestic violence, dowry harassment and her painful separation from her daughter.

According to Kapila, her life became increasingly difficult after marriage as she allegedly faced harassment related to dowry. She recalled that things were relatively manageable initially, but the situation changed after her mother-in-law returned.

One of the most disturbing parts of Kapila's account was her recollection of an incident in which she alleged that an attempt was made to set her on fire using kerosene.
She explained that the incident happened during winter. According to her account, her saree's pallu and sweater became stuck to her body during the incident. She somehow managed to save herself and got into a water tank in an attempt to protect herself from the flames.
She was subsequently taken to a hospital for medical treatment.

Kapila Says She Has Not Met Her Daughter for 24 Years
The most heartbreaking part of Kapila Taneja's story was her separation from her daughter. She revealed that she has not been able to meet her daughter for nearly 24 years.
