The competition inside Bigg Boss 20 has intensified as contestants begin settling into the reality show. While the first round of nominations has already taken place, several contestants have also started revealing personal experiences and struggles. Among them, singer Riti Tiwari, daughter of actor and politician Manoj Tiwari, made a shocking revelation about the threats she allegedly receives because of her family background.
Riti Tiwari Talks About Receiving Threats
During a conversation with boxer Mary Kom and other contestants, 26-year-old Riti Tiwari opened up about the pressure of being Manoj Tiwari's daughter. She explained that people often connect everything she says or does with her father's identity.
Riti said that she has always experienced "double pressure" because of her father's popularity. According to her, whenever she expresses an opinion, people immediately associate it with Manoj Tiwari and judge her based on his public image.
She further revealed that she has faced extremely disturbing online threats, including threats of rape and murder. Riti explained that she believes she is targeted simply because she is the daughter of a well-known public figure. She also expressed frustration that people often treat her opinions as though they represent those of her father.

She Wants to Establish Her Own Identity
Riti also spoke about her personal life while interacting with actress Kanika Mann. She discussed how her parents' separation affected her and shared her desire to become financially independent and build an identity separate from her father.
The singer admitted that she wanted to work, earn for herself and establish her own career. However, she feels that she could not achieve these goals as planned because she fell in love.
Riti revealed that she had been in love with her best friend, whom she had known for around 20 years. Unfortunately, the relationship recently came to an end, leaving her to deal with a difficult phase in her personal life.
Riti Tiwari's Career in Music
For those unfamiliar with Riti Tiwari, she is a singer, songwriter, composer and producer. She has released several independent tracks on platforms such as YouTube and Spotify.
Some of her known songs include Barish, Mansik Santulan, Jhoothi Baby and Ghoom Chuke. Apart from her musical work, Riti also maintains a presence on social media, where she has around 40,000 followers on Instagram.
