Bhojpuri cinema's popular actress Amrapali Dubey has entered the controversial reality show Bigg Boss 20. Before stepping inside the house, the actress spoke exclusively about her expectations from the show, her approach to the game, her favorite Bigg Boss contestant, and her excitement about meeting host Salman Khan.
Amrapali also addressed the stereotypes associated with the Bhojpuri film industry and made it clear that while she is ready to answer genuine questions, she will not tolerate disrespect toward her or her mother tongue.
Winning the Trophy Is the Only Target
Unlike contestants who enter the Bigg Boss house with a carefully planned strategy, Amrapali says she prefers to deal with situations as they arise. She does not believe in calculating every move in advance.
According to her, the objective is straightforward: she wants to win the trophy. However, she does not intend to create unnecessary strategies or manipulate situations simply for the sake of the game.
Sidharth Shukla Remains Her Favorite Contestant
Amrapali has not decided beforehand whom she wants to befriend inside the house. She says she naturally connects with straightforward people who enjoy talking, laughing and having meaningful conversations.
When asked about her favorite contestant from Bigg Boss history, she immediately mentioned Sidharth Shukla. She particularly enjoyed the season in which Sidharth emerged as the winner and considers him her favorite player in the show's history.

Wants Khesari Lal Yadav Back in the House
The theme of this season is reportedly 'Jeevandan', which led to an interesting question: if Amrapali could bring back a former contestant, whom would she choose?
Her answer was Khesari Lal Yadav.
Khesari had participated in Bigg Boss 13, but his journey ended much earlier than expected. Amrapali believes he did not get enough opportunity during his short stint to express himself properly or showcase his personality to the audience.
Salman Khan Is a Major Reason Behind Her Decision
Meeting Salman Khan is one of the moments Amrapali is most excited about. She admits that facing the superstar on the show will be a memorable experience for her.
She also revealed that if Salman tells her that she is taking her game in the wrong direction, she would take his advice seriously. For Amrapali, Salman is much more than the show's host-she considers him the person who truly understands the Bigg Boss format.

Amrapali revealed that she had been approached for Bigg Boss for several years. According to the actress, offers had been coming her way since Season 14, but she wasn't ready to participate at that time.
This year, however, she felt that she should not let the opportunity pass. Her admiration for Salman Khan was also one of the biggest factors behind her decision to finally enter the reality show.
Will Not Compromise on the Dignity of Bhojpuri Cinema
One of the strongest points Amrapali discussed was the perception surrounding Bhojpuri cinema.
She acknowledged that the industry has often been associated with certain stereotypes and misconceptions. However, she made it clear that she is prepared to respond respectfully when someone asks a legitimate question.
At the same time, she warned that personal accusations, disrespectful comments or attempts to cross the line would not be acceptable to her. Since Bhojpuri is her mother tongue, she feels strongly about protecting the dignity and reputation of the language and its film industry.
'I Can Backstab If the Game Demands It'
Amrapali is also prepared to make difficult decisions inside the house. She admitted that if the game requires it, she could even nominate someone close to her.
However, she says she would first confront a friend who secretly turns against her and ask them directly about their reasons. If she finds their explanation unreasonable, she would not hesitate to retaliate strategically.
At the same time, she has clearly defined her limits. If a task crosses into physical violence or abusive behavior, she says she will immediately draw the line. According to her, everyone enters the house as entertainers and nobody should put their life at risk merely for a reality-show task.
Don't Mistake Her Calm Nature for Weakness
Amrapali also addressed the perception that she is always composed and peaceful. She says that people may have misunderstood her personality because she can lose her temper quickly when pushed too far.
For her, the toughest part of Bigg Boss 20 may not be living under constant camera surveillance. Instead, being separated from the people closest to her could prove to be a bigger emotional challenge.
