After unveiling the film's title earlier, Rajamouli has now shed more light on the story's expansive setting. According to the director, Varanasi will take audiences on an extraordinary adventure that begins in the sacred city of Varanasi, travels across Antarctica and Africa, and eventually ventures into ancient Rome through a time-travel narrative before returning to where it all started.
