The excitement around Haiwaan is building as the film approaches its theatrical release. Just days before the movie arrives in cinemas, the makers have unveiled its much-awaited title track, “Main Toh Nahin Haiwaan.” The song has already started gaining traction among audiences on social media.

Haiwaan Is the Hindi Remake of Malayalam Hit Oppam
Haiwaan is reportedly the Hindi adaptation of Priyadarshan's Malayalam film Oppam, which starred Mohanlal and was released in 2016. The original film became a major success, and Priyadarshan is now bringing the story to Hindi-speaking audiences nearly a decade later.
In the new version, Saif Ali Khan plays a visually impaired character, while Akshay Kumar takes on the antagonist's role. The story revolves around Saif's character trying to protect his daughter from the dangerous figure played by Akshay.
The film promises a combination of suspense, psychological drama and action, with the contrasting characters of Akshay and Saif expected to drive much of the narrative.
Haiwaan Gets UA 16+ Certification
The film has also cleared the censor process. Haiwaan has received a UA 16+ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Its theatrical runtime has reportedly been set at around 2 hours and 45 minutes.
