Chauhaan, Ajay Devgan’s latest movie production, has now become a subject of controversy following Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub’s public distancing from the movie. As per the actor, he has nothing to do with the film and a line recited by him has been put into the trailer without showing him the full context of the same.
The actor responded to this issue in light of reports of his voice being heard in the beginning of the teaser trailer. As per Zeeshan, he was asked to dub a line a few months back and did so in good faith because he personally knew the people behind the movie. However, he was unaware of the context in which his voice would be used.

Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub has categorically stated that he is not from Chauhaan. Responding to the controversy, the actor has clarified that he was only asked to dub a line and he was not made aware of the situation in which his voice was to be featured.
According to him, he had recorded the line without making any other inquiry because he personally knows the makers of the film. However, having seen the teaser, he feels strongly against the usage of his voice in it.
Actor Claims His Voice Was Used Without Proper Context
According to Zeeshan, the voice recording had taken place months before the release of the teaser. It has been stated that although he had recorded the voice line in good faith, he was unaware of the movie and the context for the teaser’s opening scene.
This statement by the actor has led to a debate on the use of the voice of an artist and the need for complete context before doing so.
Zeeshan Says His Voice Was Removed After His Objection

After this statement by Zeeshan, he alleged that the producers had stripped off his voice from the trailer 15 days ago. He also pointed out that he did not want to associate himself with the film.
These statements by Zeeshan have added another dimension to the controversy that has been going on regarding Chauhaan due to its link with Ajay Devgan and huge budget of the film.
