Weverse Con Festival is coming to India for the first time, with HYBE confirming that its flagship K-pop festival will be held in New Delhi in March 2027. The 2-day event is scheduled for March 27 and 28 and will mark the festival’s first edition outside South Korea. The India edition will bring together K-pop and Indian artists, live performances, fan activities and collaborative stages, giving Indian fans an opportunity to experience the festival without travelling overseas.

Weverse Con Festival India Set For March 2027

The India edition of Weverse Con Festival will take place in New Delhi on March 27 and 28, 2027. It will be the first time the event has travelled outside South Korea since its launch. While the artist lineup has not yet been announced, organisers have confirmed that the festival will feature performers from both the K-pop industry and India’s music scene. The event is also expected to include interactive fan experiences and cultural activities alongside its main concert stages, extending the festival beyond a traditional music event.\

K Pop And Indian Artists To Share The Stage

A major feature of the India edition will be special collaboration stages involving Korean and Indian artists. These performances are expected to create opportunities for artists from both music industries to work together and experiment with different musical styles.

The festival will also include fan-focused experiences, brand activations and other activities designed around the wider Weverse community. With K-pop’s audience continuing to grow across India, the event gives fans a chance to experience an international festival format locally while also introducing Korean artists to an even broader Indian audience. The exact performers, collaborations and schedule will be revealed at a later stage.

HYBE Expands Its Presence In India

The announcement is part of HYBE’s wider expansion in the Indian market. The company has established HYBE INDIA as a strategic global office in Mumbai and has been exploring opportunities involving local talent, content and entertainment. The company has also been conducting auditions in India as it works to discover and develop new local artists, including talent for a potential girl group. Weverse, meanwhile, has grown into a global fan platform offering artist communication, content, merchandise and live-event experiences. The festival is designed to bring that online fandom experience into a large-scale physical event.

Weverse Con Festival Grows Beyond South Korea

Weverse Con Festival began as Weverse Con, an online concert launched in 2021 during the pandemic. It later transitioned into an in-person festival and adopted its current name in 2023, when it was held at Olympic Park in Seoul. Since then, the festival has expanded its lineup beyond HYBE’s own artists, bringing together performers from across the Korean music industry. The 2026 edition featured groups, bands and solo artists from different generations of K-pop.

The move to New Delhi therefore marks a significant new step for the festival, taking its combination of concerts, fan engagement and cultural experiences to a new market. The event is being co-produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live, which will handle local production and promotion in India.

Final Take

Weverse Con Festival will make its international debut in New Delhi on March 27 and 28, 2027, becoming the first edition of the event outside South Korea. With K-pop and Indian artists, collaboration stages and fan experiences planned, the festival is set to bring HYBE’s major fan-focused event directly to India.
