A very interesting cast that seems to be in the works for Netflix's next Meena Kumari biopic Kamal Aur Meena includes Saif Ali Khan and Triptii Dimri, who are believed to be negotiating to star in the film on the lives, relationship and love story of the legendary director Kamal Amrohi and Meena Kumari.
It seems that Saif will play Kamal Amrohi in the film, while Triptii will be seen playing Meena Kumari. This film will be directed by Siddharth P Malhotra.
Saif Ali Khan Reportedly Set To Play Kamal Amrohi
Saif Ali Khan can don the shoes of Kamal Amrohi, one of the greatest filmmakers in the history of Hindi films. Amrohi is famous for his unique film-making style and is identified with classics like Mahal and Pakeezah.

The film is being produced by Bilal Amrohi, who is the grandson of Kamal Amrohi and Meena Kumari. The movie is still in its pre-production stage, but contractual arrangements are believed to be underway along with the shooting schedule.
As of now, there has been no official confirmation from the makers on Saif Ali Khan and Triptii Dimri joining this film; therefore, their reported casting is considered unconfirmed. If the deal materializes, then their combination may prove to be one of the most interesting casting in any future Hindi biopic movie.
