Popular actor Ram Kapoor made a shocking revelation on reality show Lock Upp 2, leaving contestants and viewers emotional. During a special task where participants were asked to share the biggest secret of their lives, Ram opened up about one of the most painful experiences of his life.

The actor revealed that he supported his father in fulfilling his final wish while he was battling pancreatic cancer. According to Ram, the decision was extremely difficult and changed his relationship with his family forever.

Ram Kapoor’s Father Was Battling Pancreatic Cancer

Ram shared that during the COVID-19 pandemic, his 73-year-old father was once again diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. His father had already gone through a long and painful battle against the disease earlier, but when the illness returned, he was emotionally and physically exhausted.

The actor revealed that his father did not want to undergo the painful medical treatments again. He had reached a stage where he wanted to make his own decision rather than continue suffering through the disease.

Actor Supported His Father’s Final Wish

Recalling the emotional phase, Ram Kapoor revealed that his father reached out to him through his wife, Gautami. During their conversation, his father expressed that he did not want to continue fighting the illness and wanted Ram’s support during his final journey.

Ram shared that his father directly asked whether he would stand by him during that difficult time. He also revealed that his father told him he would take the step alone if Ram refused to help, leaving the actor with an extremely painful decision.

Mother and Sister Still Angry With Ram Kapoor?

While talking about those heartbreaking moments, Ram said that when his father was admitted to the ICU, other family members believed that he was receiving treatment. However, Ram knew the reality of the situation.

The actor revealed that he held his father’s hand and helped him leave the world peacefully. However, this decision came with a huge emotional price. Ram said that after the incident, his mother and sister became extremely upset with him and have not spoken to him properly even today.

Despite the pain and family differences, Ram Kapoor said that the experience completely changed his outlook towards life. He added that after witnessing his father’s suffering, his fear of death disappeared forever.
