Actors like Rajpal Yadav have now been entangled with the law for failing to clear his cheque bounce cases that have been put up against him by the Delhi High Court. It is said that the Delhi High Court ordered a jail term of three months in each of the seven financial disputes cases. In addition to the jail term, the actor is supposed to pay an amount of ₹1.05 crore in each of the financial disputes cases.
However, according to the defense of the actor, the accused has already paid a considerable amount in the dispute and has been given some more time to sort things out in the process.
Delhi High Court Announces Sentence to Rajpal Yadav

It is stated that the Delhi High Court had imposed a jail term of three months each in seven cases against Rajpal Yadav for the alleged bouncing of cheque. It was also decided by the court that he should also make a payment of ₹1.05 crore in each of these seven cases.
The case has its origins in the matter of a debt of several crores and has been pending for years now.
Rajpal Yadav's Lawyer Seeks Relief
While appearing in front of the court, the lawyer of Rajpal Yadav said that the actor has been given two months’ time for the case. The co-accused Radha was also given some respite in the proceedings.
The lawyers made it clear that they will provide a response to the observations of the court only after going through the detailed judgment.
Rajpal Yadav's Lawyer Claims Most Of The Amount Is Paid

Counsel for Rajpal Yadav claimed that ₹4.5 crore is already deposited out of the original liability of ₹5 crore in the cheque bouncing case.
As per the lawyer, the financial case is made up of several interlinked cases, and the total claim is somewhere between ₹10.5 crore to ₹11.5 crore.
Case Continues Amid Legal Proceedings Against Rajpal Yadav
Whereas the current court ruling is a breakthrough to a great extent, the legal battles relating to the financial case are still not entirely over since there are several interconnected cases that still remain pending.
It should be noted that Rajpal Yadav has not issued any statement pertaining to the current ruling, whereas his legal team is exploring all possibilities in relation to the ongoing case.
