Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 is once again facing criticism online after a recent stunt left viewers uncomfortable. The show, known for testing contestants through dangerous and challenging tasks, has come under fire over a stunt that required participants to endure hot wax on their hands.
The controversy comes just a week after the reality stunt show was criticised for its rubber bullet challenge. Now, many viewers feel that the latest task crossed the line between testing fear and deliberately exposing contestants to extreme physical pain.
What Happened During the Wax Stunt?
The stunt was part of an elimination round involving Rubina Dilaik, Ruhanika Dhawan, Harsh Gujral and Vishal Aditya Singh. All four contestants had received the 'Fear Fanda' and were required to compete in a task designed to test their ability to withstand pain.
As part of the challenge, the contestants had to keep hot wax accumulating on their hands for 10 minutes. The task quickly became difficult for some of them, with Ruhanika visibly struggling with the intense pain.
Unable to tolerate it any longer, she eventually stopped the stunt and expressed how unbearable the experience had become.
Rubina also spoke about the increasing burning sensation during the challenge, saying that the pain had become extremely difficult to handle as more layers of wax were added.
Who Won the Dangerous Task?
While Ruhanika had to quit the challenge midway, the remaining contestants continued fighting to complete the task.
In the end, Harsh Gujral emerged as the winner of the elimination stunt. His performance helped him avoid the consequences of the Fear Fanda, while the difficult challenge left a strong impression on viewers.

Viewers Question the Show's Stunts
Following the episode, several viewers took to social media to question whether such tasks are necessary for a stunt-based reality show.
Some viewers argued that overcoming fear should involve skill, courage and strategy rather than making physical pain the central element of a challenge. Others described the stunt as disturbing rather than entertaining.
One social media user criticised the concept, arguing that deliberately making contestants suffer cannot be considered an example of bravery and questioning whether physical pain should be used as entertainment.
Another viewer said the stunt offered little entertainment and was instead difficult to watch. A further reaction compared the challenge to turning human suffering into a spectacle and questioned the use of painful methods on contestants.

Rubber Bullet Stunt Had Also Sparked Controversy
This is not the first time Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 has faced criticism over a physically intense stunt. The previous week, the show attracted attention for its 'Pain Auction' challenge, during which contestants were hit with rubber bullets.
The stunt resulted in visible injuries and prompted angry reactions from sections of the audience. Some viewers accused the makers of putting contestants at unnecessary risk in the pursuit of higher TRPs.
The latest wax challenge has once again brought the safety and limits of reality-show stunts into the spotlight.
