BJP MP and veteran actress Hema Malini has shared her views on the recent protest organized by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) in New Delhi. The demonstration, which witnessed a large turnout of students and young people, reportedly led to clashes with police, leaving several protesters and security personnel injured.

Speaking on the issue, Hema Malini said that disagreements should be addressed through discussion rather than confrontation, stressing that meaningful conversations are the best way to resolve concerns.

Hema Malini Calls for Dialogue Instead of Protests

Responding to questions from media, Hema Malini said that if there are genuine issues, they should be discussed with the concerned authorities instead of taking to the streets. She maintained that protests alone are unlikely to solve problems and emphasized the importance of constructive communication.

The BJP MP also highlighted the central government's efforts toward education and youth welfare, stating that several initiatives have been launched for students in recent years. She further remarked that young people should be made fully aware of the issues instead of being misled, adding that transparency and dialogue are essential for finding solutions.

When asked about the opposition's demand for Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation, Hema Malini chose not to comment.

Why Is CJP Protesting?

The Cockroach Janata Party has been demanding accountability over alleged irregularities in the NEET examination and has repeatedly called for the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. As part of its campaign, the organization announced a march toward Parliament on July 20, drawing students and supporters from Delhi and several other parts of the country.

As the crowd grew, police intervened to control the situation. Reports indicate that baton charges and tear gas were used after tensions escalated, resulting in injuries on both sides.

Political Parties Extend Support

The CJP protest has received support from several opposition parties, including the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Samajwadi Party (SP), both of which backed the students' demands. Meanwhile, representatives of the organization also met Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda to discuss their concerns.

The demonstrations have added to the ongoing national debate over examination transparency and accountability, with political reactions continuing from both the ruling party and the opposition.
