Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are set to reunite on screen with Tu Hai Meri Kiran, an upcoming romantic thriller that explores the thin line between love and obsession. The makers have unveiled the film's first look along with its theatrical release date, giving audiences their first glimpse into the mysterious world of the film. Written and directed by Karan Rawal, the movie is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on October 23, 2026.
Tu Hai Meri Kiran First Look Sets Up A Mysterious Romance
The first-look poster immediately establishes a suspenseful mood around Sonakshi and Zaheer's characters. Instead of revealing the complete story, the makers have used the poster to raise questions about the relationship at the centre of the film.
Sonakshi shared the first look on social media with the line asking where audiences would draw the line between “LOVE” and “OBSESSION”. The tagline gives the film a psychological edge and suggests that its romance could gradually take a darker turn.
Sonakshi Sinha And Zaheer Iqbal Return As An On-Screen Pair
Tu Hai Meri Kiran brings the real-life couple together on screen after their earlier collaboration in Double XL. They also appeared together in the 2022 music video Blockbuster.
The new film, however, gives them a very different setting. Rather than a straightforward romantic story, the project is being presented as a romantic thriller combining mystery, suspense and an intense relationship dynamic.

Karan Rawal Directs The Romantic Thriller
Tu Hai Meri Kiran has been authored and directed by Karan Rawal, while Vishal Rana is responsible for the production of the film. Information regarding the characters of the film and their struggle is mostly withheld from the public eye, enabling the teaser to spark curiosity without giving away too much information.
The title of the movie is also associated with Darr, where the character of Kiran was played by Juhi Chawla, along with the song that she performed. However, the story of the film is independent and has a different take altogether.
Tu Hai Meri Kiran Arrives In Cinemas On October 23
Tu Hai Meri Kiran will be having its theatrical premiere on October 23, 2026. This information is provided after the film was kept under wraps due to a delay in its release due to a certain copyright issue reported in 2024.
Now since the first look and release date of the movie are out in the open, it can be said that the promotion process has started. Given the duo’s pairing together and a plot focused on the dichotomy of love and obsession, it will now be a thriller romance for the couple.
