Mumbai, September 28, 2026: If 2026 has felt like one long series of unexpected twists, FilterCopy Comedy has found a way to turn the chaos into laughter. The comedy platform has announced the full line-up for Hahakaar, a new two-day comedy festival taking place at Mumbai’s iconic Mukesh Mills on December 12–13, 2026.

The festival will bring together 30+ comedians, three comedy stages, games, food, pop-ups, immersive experiences, a sea-facing hangout and an official afterparty. Tickets for Hahakaar are now live on District, starting at ₹3,999.

Hahakaar Brings 30+ Comedians to Mumbai

The line-up features some of the biggest names in Indian comedy alongside emerging performers and surprise appearances.

The announced comedians include Harsh Gujral, Munawar Farooqui, Aakash Gupta, Biswa Kalyan Rath, Manhar Seth, Atul Khatri, Aadar Malik, Rohit Shah, Prashasti Singh, Shreeja Chaturvedi, Sapan Verma, Urooj Ashfaq, Gurleen Pannu, Onkar Yadav and Shreya Priyam Roy.

With more than 30 comedians across different formats, audiences can expect a mix of headline stand-up performances, intimate comedy sets, improv, open mics and internet-inspired formats.

Hahakaar Is More Than a Stand-Up Comedy Show

Unlike a traditional comedy event where audiences mainly sit and watch performances, Hahakaar is designed as a complete festival experience.

The idea is simple: comedy is the starting point, while the rest of the festival gives visitors different ways to spend their time between shows.

The entire Mukesh Mills venue will be transformed into different zones featuring comedy, games, food, pop-ups, installations and spaces to relax.

Three Comedy Stages to Explore

The festival will feature three main comedy spaces, each offering a different experience.

Grand Stand

Grand Stand will host the festival’s headline comedy acts, giving audiences the chance to watch some of the biggest names on the Hahakaar line-up.

Sucky Naka

Sucky Naka will take comedy indoors with more intimate performances, surprise acts and live internet formats. The space is expected to offer a closer and more unpredictable comedy experience.

Nahi-Mann Point

Nahi-Mann Point will bring together improv, open mics, emerging comedians, conversations and surprise drops, giving new and experimental voices a space at the festival.

Food, Games and Pop-Ups Add to the Hahakaar Experience

Hahakaar will also extend beyond its comedy stages with dedicated spaces for food, games and entertainment.

Marine Dine will offer visitors a sea-facing space to eat and drink, while Get-Away-of-India will bring games into the festival.

Other festival zones, including Chor Bizarre, Crawfood Market and MalaBAR Chill, will feature food, pop-ups, installations and spaces for visitors to hang out.

Hahakaar Afterparty: Chowparty

The entertainment will continue after the comedy performances with Chowparty, Hahakaar’s official afterparty.

Scheduled for Saturday night, Chowparty will give festival-goers an opportunity to continue the celebration with music, nightlife and the same chaotic energy that defines the event.

Why Hahakaar Is Different

Hahakaar comes with a simple idea: when everyday life feels chaotic, sometimes laughter can be the best way to deal with it.

From market uncertainty and technology changing workplaces to constant news about global events, 2026 has given people plenty of reasons to feel overwhelmed. Hahakaar aims to turn some of that chaos into a shared weekend of comedy and entertainment.

As Siddharth Anand Kumar, Executive Vice President - Films & Events, Saregama, explained, the festival is designed to make the comedian the starting point rather than the entire experience. The idea is to create a wider celebration around comedy where audiences can discover new acts, explore different formats, play games, eat and experience the festival beyond the main stage.
