Season 5 episode 8 of Playground, "Tadpaa Denge Isse", moved the focus from physical rivalry to psychological games where the participants had to face one of the most talked-about challenges of the season. The major topic that emerged from Episode 8 was the "Tag Task" of Filter-Free. The participants were required to give negative labels and behavior tags to other people staying in the same house. While some participants managed to take the criticism constructively, the task soon became confrontational as some of the participants refused the behavior tag given to them. This task brought forward many existing conflicts in the house, resulting in new rivals being formed. The task ended up changing all the dynamics of the house.

This week's episode didn’t change the existing hierarchy, with KO Krakens still being the leading team of the competition.

KO Krakens continue being the leaders, having demonstrated a solid performance during all episodes of the competition. The team was still lucky enough to use its discipline in order to keep their advantage while their rivals experienced various problems with themselves.
2nd Place – Raging Centaurs (Coach: Tejasswi Prakash)
Raging Centaurs take the second place in the current ranking list. Even being in conflict within their house, the team of Tejasswi Prakash managed to stay competitive and get stronger by concentrating on the game.
3rd Place – Power Phoenixes (Coach: Aarush Bhola)
Power Phoenixes occupy the third place in the ranking list despite another tough episode. The team was lucky enough to demonstrate strong results at the beginning of the season, but now internal conflicts make it hard for them to follow one strategy.

Power Phoenixes Face Growing Internal Rift
A major portion of Episode 8 revolved around the souring environment at Power Phoenixes. In one of the discussions, Akanchadeep confronted his teammate Simar about how he is manipulating the team and misleading them in order to cause rifts. The ensuing scene left many teammates shocked and reflected the rising trust issues in Aarush Bhola's camp. The conflict also reflected how the team is finding it difficult to stay united at such an important juncture in the contest.
KO Krakens Continue to Set the Pace
Whereas others had to face internal conflict, KO Krakens were able to steadily increase their edge due to good performances and teamwork. The group managed to take advantage of the situation in the rival camps, with the help of great individual performances, including those by Khushboo. As the competition moves towards strategy, KO Krakens seem to be well-prepared, but Raging Centaurs and Power Phoenixes would want to narrow the gap in the coming episodes.

Social strategy can actually have the same impact as physical ability according to the eighth episode of Playground Season 5.
