Evil Dead Burn Story Overview
The plot centers around Alice (Souheila Yacoub), who goes to the family home of her late husband seeking comfort due to a tragic incident in her life. The seemingly calm family reunion is quickly interrupted by an awakening of an ancient evil force that starts to possess the people at the reunion.
With each member of the family turning into frightening Deadites, Alice finds herself in the struggle to survive and defeat the evil force at all costs. As time goes on, the horrors get worse, making Alice witness horrifying acts of violence committed while trying to find a solution to the problem.

Evil Dead Burn Review: Brutal Horror, Limited Depth
Evil Dead Burn starts off very early by plunging the audience into total chaos. This movie has graphic practical effects, body horror, and constant carnage that makes it one of the bloodiest parts of this franchise. Some of the scary scenes are highly creative and even disturbing. But the writers of this movie devote much more time to showing violence than to developing their characters. Emotional scenes fail to make an effect since there is not enough time for them. Overall, the pace of the movie is quite fast and entertaining. However, the weak plot makes the film less memorable than its best movies of the franchise. Horror viewers who enjoy gore will surely like this film.
Souheila Yacoub Leads the Nightmare
Alice is portrayed by Souheila Yacoub in a sincere performance that combines a mix of fragility and resilience. In spite of the fact that the script favors grandeur over sentimentality, Souheila holds the movie together. Hunter Doohan and Luciane Buchanan deliver good secondary performances, with Tandi Wright adding to the suspense through her unnerving screen presence. Overall, a credible cast delivers impressive performances with a very thin emotional script to work with.

"Evil Dead Burn," true to the expectations of long-time fans, provides them with everything that they know about the series the graphic violence, the terrifying imagery, and the constant supernatural terror. Unfortunately, the film is so dependent upon the use of gore that the story and the characters are almost always overlooked.
