Kartik Aaryan was identified as one of the biggest celebrities who contributed towards charity, making a donation of 1 crore rupees towards the Assam Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. The money was given as a contribution towards rescuing and rehabilitation of the victims of the floods.
The Assam Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, thanked the celebrity actor for his wonderful gesture and called it an important contribution at this tough time. Kartik's contribution is one of the biggest contributions given by any celebrity from India for the 2026 Assam floods.
Salman Khan Began A Large-Scale Relief Campaign
Salman Khan contributed through his charitable organization, Being Human. As per reports, this initiative started by distributing ready-to-eat food packs and necessities in association with one of his fan clubs in Assam.
The relief effort is anticipated to be continued in phases with the distribution of ration packs, medicine, clean drinking water, mosquito repellents, and hygiene products. The reports have also revealed that this initiative has been launched with an objective of restoring the schools and hospitals that got destroyed due to the floods.

Bhumi Pednekar Appealed For Support
In this regard, Bhumi Pednekar stepped in and offered assistance to the affected people. She requested the general public to contribute to the relief efforts and pointed out the problems that the people who have been displaced due to the calamity are facing.

Alia Bhatt Raised Awareness On Social Media
Using her social media site as a means of getting more awareness about the ongoing flood situation in Assam, Alia Bhatt talked about the situation by advising her followers to support genuine relief camps and helping out people who are affected by the situation.
It was a message which stressed upon the need for joint effort during natural calamities and added to the number of celebrities who have stood in solidarity with the people of Assam.
