Fadnavis said Patekar was like a brother, guide and friend to him. The actor’s funeral will take place at his farmhouse in Pune, with the cremation scheduled for 5 PM. The public will also have an opportunity to pay their final respects before the last rites.

Nana Patekar Dies At 75 After Cardiac Arrest
Patekar passed away in the early hours of Thursday at his home in Dona Paula, Goa. He was found unresponsive and was taken to Manipal Hospital, where doctors attempted to revive him through continuous CPR for around 45 minutes to an hour.
The actor was declared dead at approximately 5:20 AM. His son Malhar confirmed the news and said that his father had died of natural causes, with the family later confirming that the death followed a cardiac arrest. His body was subsequently taken for post-mortem examination as authorities followed the required medical and legal procedures.
