Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film King is back in the headlines, with two fresh updates creating excitement among fans. According to recent reports, the makers could unveil the film's teaser on November 2, coinciding with the superstar's birthday. Meanwhile, the action entertainer is reportedly approaching the final stage of filming, with additional sequences and a song featuring Suhana Khan expected to be shot. However, an official announcement regarding the teaser launch is still awaited.
King Teaser Could Release on Shah Rukh Khan's Birthday
November 2 could bring a special surprise for Shah Rukh Khan's fans this year. Reports suggest that the makers of King are considering releasing the film's teaser on the actor's birthday, turning the occasion into a major promotional moment. Shah Rukh's birthday traditionally attracts enormous attention, with fans gathering outside his Mumbai residence, Mannat, to celebrate.
A teaser release on the same day would give audiences their first substantial look at the film's action, characters and overall presentation. However, the reported November 2 launch remains unconfirmed, and neither Shah Rukh Khan nor the production team has officially announced a teaser date.
King Enters Final Shooting Schedule With Additional Sequences
Another update concerns the film's production progress. According to reports, the makers have recently begun the final shooting schedule of King, bringing the ambitious project closer to completion. The remaining work is expected to include additional scenes designed to complete important portions of the narrative.
Although the film is reportedly nearing the end of principal photography, details about the exact shooting locations and completion date have not been officially disclosed. The reported final schedule suggests that production is progressing, but post-production work will still be important for a film of this scale.

Suhana Khan Reportedly Set to Shoot a Song for King
Suhana Khan is also part of the latest reports surrounding King. The actress is reportedly expected to participate in a song sequence during the film's final shooting schedule. While details about the song's music, choreography and other performers remain unavailable, the update has drawn attention because of Suhana's involvement in the project.
King marks a major theatrical project for Suhana, who made her acting debut with Netflix's The Archies in 2023. The film also brings her together with her father, Shah Rukh Khan, making their collaboration one of its most discussed aspects.
Siddharth Anand's King Remains a Major Upcoming Release
Directed by Siddharth Anand, King is among Shah Rukh Khan's most anticipated upcoming films. The filmmaker previously worked with Shah Rukh on Pathaan, which became a major box-office success in 2023. The new project is expected to feature large-scale action and an ensemble cast, with Shah Rukh and Suhana at the centre of considerable audience interest.
For now, the two reported developments remain the possible November 2 teaser launch and progress on the final shooting schedule. Fans will have to wait for an official announcement to know whether Shah Rukh plans to celebrate his birthday with the first teaser of King.
