Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has opened up about his relationship with Shubhra Shetty, who is reportedly 20 years younger than him, and addressed the possibility of getting married for the third time.
The 53-year-old filmmaker has been in a relationship with 33-year-old Shubhra Shetty for several years. In a recent conversation with Janice Sequeira, Kashyap spoke candidly about his relationship, his thoughts on marriage and the insecurities he has experienced because of their age difference.
Anurag Kashyap on His Third Marriage
Talking about his future with Shubhra, Anurag revealed that she does not particularly believe in marriage. For him, however, being with her and sharing a happy life together matters more than putting a label on their relationship.
He said that he is extremely happy with Shubhra and wants to continue being with her. The filmmaker also reflected on his own insecurities, joking about what could possibly make an older man insecure.
Rather than focusing on whether they will officially marry, Kashyap emphasized that he wants to make the most of the relationship they have today.

The filmmaker also spoke about his desire to remain healthy and live longer for the people he loves. He explained that he wants to stay fit so that he can spend as much time as possible with those who are important to him.

His first marriage was to editor Aarti Bajaj. The couple divorced in 2009 and have a daughter together. Kashyap later married actress Kalki Koechlin. Their marriage ended in divorce in 2015.
Now, with his comments about Shubhra, the filmmaker has made it clear that his priority is maintaining a fulfilling relationship and spending more time with the person he loves, regardless of whether they eventually decide to marry.
