Vibe Story Overview
Hardik (Kunal Kemmu) comes down from Delhi to Mumbai and he has just completed his rehabilitation program. His best friend Bugs (Sparsh Shrivastava) is an IT professional and works in a technology company where he helps Hardik to find a job. Hardik dates Kareena (Vanshika Dhir) but all of a sudden the situation starts getting worse.
Right after the date, Hardik and Bugs get involved in some secret mission by Madam H (Preity Zinta) who is a secret service agent. The two friends are told to provide the information regarding the upcoming attack of terrorists on Mumbai. But they are not prepared at all and end up making many messes throughout the movie. The whole movie revolves around the story of these two normal men and how they manage in the secret mission they get into.

Vibe Review: The Comedy Works Better Than the Spy Story
The movie features a playful start as Hardik and Bugs continue trading jokes and creating uncomfortable situations. The chemistry between the characters makes the movie funniest at some points. Certain one-liners and double entendres succeed. But the problem arises when the movie tries shifting from comedy into action. This becomes obvious when the focus shifts from comedy to terrorism and actions scenes.
However, towards the end of the movie, the movie regains its comedic tone but this happens through an uneven journey. The movie features the madness of Kunal Kemmu in Madgaon Express but this madness is found in the movie in pieces. The movie’s screenplay shifts from comedy to romance to action but this does not happen smoothly.

Kunal Kemmu and Preity Zinta Stand Out
Kunal Kemmu proves to be the greatest asset of Vibe as an actor. He shifts between cheerful, confused, frightened, and lost states effortlessly. His sense of humor saves Vibe from some dull moments. Bugs played by Sparsh Shrivastava is another strong performer of the movie. While his character is not as loud and crazy as that of Hardik, he strikes a good balance without going into extremes.
Preity Zinta is offered a new role of Madam H who is a secret service agent. Her character is full of contrasts – she is both serious and funny, and Preity Zinta gives her enough energy and makes the action scenes more exciting. Vanshika Dhir manages to make a good impression in the role of Kareena, but she is not the most significant character of the movie. Sharmila Tagore plays a cameo as the Union home minister.

Technical Aspects and Visual Appeal
