In fact, the plot takes place against the backdrop of the Madras Famine, one of the most horrific times marked by drought and starvation among other factors. A large number of people perished in the famine in various parts of India. In such a historical context, Ranabaali seems to be more of a fight between the character and oppression.
Rashmika Mandanna Plays His Partner Jayamma
