The makers of Ramayana: Part 1 have released the new song Judi Jodi, featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama and Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita. Unveiled on October 29, 2026, on the occasion of Karwa Chauth, the track celebrates the divine relationship between Rama and Sita through their wedding ceremony.

Composed by AR Rahman and written by Dr Kumar Vishwas, the Hindi version features vocals by Shreya Ghoshal. The song has also been released in four other Indian languages, giving audiences another glimpse of Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming mythological epic ahead of its November 5 theatrical release.

Judi Jodi Song Showcases Rama and Sita's Wedding Ceremony

The newly released Judi Jodi centres on the sacred wedding of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita. Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi appear as the legendary couple, with the song highlighting their union and the traditional varmala ceremony. The track focuses on love, devotion, trust and companionship, presenting the marriage as a significant emotional moment in the story.

Its release on Karwa Chauth also connects with the festival's celebration of marital relationships. Rather than emphasising action or conflict, the song introduces a softer side of the film's narrative. The wedding setting and devotional themes offer audiences a different perspective on the relationship between the two central characters.

AR Rahman and Shreya Ghoshal Bring Judi Jodi to Life

Music composer AR Rahman has created the song, while poet and lyricist Dr Kumar Vishwas has written its Hindi lyrics. Shreya Ghoshal lends her voice to the Hindi version, bringing a melodic quality to the composition. The song combines traditional Indian musical elements with a cinematic arrangement suited to the film's mythological setting.

Its release has also renewed discussions about singer Chinmayi Sripaada, who previously performed the composition live during a promotional event. Chinmayi had clarified that she performed it as a last-minute replacement for Shreya Ghoshal. Following the official release, some listeners compared the two renditions, praising their different vocal interpretations.
