The director initially searched for a Telugu actor for almost eight months but could not find the right fit. That changed when one of his assistant directors showed him a picture of Raghav Juyal. Odela immediately felt that Raghav could fit the role. The filmmaker later became even more convinced during their first meeting, when he noticed the actor’s confidence and energy.

Raghav plays Vikram Malik, the antagonist in The Paradise, opposite Nani. The film marks his entry into Telugu cinema and puts him in a darker role within Srikanth Odela’s gritty action drama. The film’s teaser has already introduced Raghav as Vikram Malik, setting up a conflict with Nani’s character Jadal.
The story is set against a harsh world involving a marginalised community, with Jadal emerging as a leader who challenges an entrenched system. The film has recently received an A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification, with a final runtime of 2 hours and 49 minutes.
