The trailer of Prem Keetanu is out, introducing Veer Pahariya, Aparshakti Khurana and debutant Aafiya Sayed in a colourful romantic comedy set around college life, friendship and first love. Directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, the film follows a young man whose simple love story becomes complicated when another man enters the picture with the same romantic interest.
Set against the backdrop of Uttar Pradesh and the Delhi-NCR region, the trailer combines comedy, romance, friendship and heartbreak. The film is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on October 2, 2026.
Veer Pahariya Plays A College Student Lost In Love
Veer Pahariya plays Vishal, a carefree college student whose life revolves around bunking classes, late-night parties and the usual mischief associated with campus life. His routine changes when he falls for Suhani, played by Aafiya Sayed.
The trailer presents Vishal as an uncomplicated young man experiencing the excitement and confusion of first love. His growing feelings for Suhani become the central emotional thread of the story, while his friendship and college life add a lighter layer to the narrative.
Aparshakti Khurana Enters As Vishal's Romantic Rival
The situation takes a turn when Aparshakti Khurana's Ranjeet enters the picture. He is equally interested in Suhani and appears much more confident and stylish than Vishal. Ranjeet does not limit his efforts to impressing Suhani.
He also tries to win over her family, creating several comic situations and making the rivalry between the two men even more complicated. Their competition eventually becomes physical, with the trailer showing Vishal and Ranjeet getting into a fight over their shared romantic interest.

Aafiya Sayed Makes Her Bollywood Debut
Aafiya Sayed takes on the role of Suhani, the woman at the centre of the film's complicated love triangle. Prem Keetanu marks her Bollywood debut, placing her opposite Veer Pahariya and Aparshakti Khurana.
Rakesh Bedi and Nikhil Vijay also feature in important supporting roles. The trailer uses music, college humour and relationship drama to build a youthful atmosphere, while the Uttar Pradesh and Delhi-NCR setting gives the film a distinctly North Indian backdrop.
Prem Keetanu Arrives In Theatres On October 2
Prem Keetanu is directed by Apoorv Singh Karki and produced by Gaurav Verma under Avanika Films. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 2, 2026.
The project has also attracted attention because of reports linking it to the Malayalam hit Premalu. Veer Pahariya has, however, denied that Prem Keetanu is a remake of the 2024 film. The movie is now heading towards a theatrical clash with Drishyam: The Conclusion.
