Playground S05E21 - "Aar Ya Paar" This season of Playground heads to the next level as the game introduces immunity, the biggest Shield Twist of the year, and six one-on-one games for the competitors. The season finale leaves us with a massive cliffhanger when Ridey challenges the captains with accusations regarding Mannat.

Aar Ya Paar Task Puts Safety on the Line

The best thing about this game is the "Aar Ya Paar" immunity task that is created especially for contestants of the Hit List to have an opportunity to save themselves. In total there will be six 1v1 fights where weak contestants will be fighting against contestants who are immune to the elimination process.

This contest is crucial as a Hit List contestant who wins can immediately replace the immune player. This new feature makes the immune contestants play actively defending their immunity instead of just watching other people. As the matches go, the balance among the KO Krakens, Raging Centaurs and Power Phoenixes gets threatened.

Vikash Wins Big In Room Of Opportunity Auction

Prior to the commencement of the gameplay in the arena, the Room of Opportunity is put up for bids by the three team captains; Ridey, Madhuja, and Vikash Yadav. Out of all the three team captains, Vikash proves to be the highest bidder when he bids 1 million Rumbles for both the sealed and benching cards.

His move adds some muscle to his power, although at the same time making him very responsible as both these cards can impact the players who can play in the game. Thus, it becomes very clear that Rumbles, apart from being the points for the gameplay, can prove to be powerful tools in the strategic decisions of the contestants.

It instantly brings trouble into the contest, as Mannat was a part of several fierce arguments.

Her situation is getting even worse because of Ridey’s actions. The episode finishes before the consequences of the fight are shown in full extent, leaving viewers wondering about Mannat’s reaction on all the accusations.

Mentor Rivalry Adds More Heat To The Game

Furthermore, the rivalry amongst the three mentors gets heightened. Elvish Yadav and Tejasswi Prakash have opposing views regarding politics within the team and strategies that should be implemented.

While Elvish talks about the response of his fans, Tejasswi does not get scared and holds her stance. This confrontation is yet another addition to the already hot environment prevailing within the Playground bootcamp. On the other hand, the Shield win of Aarush Bhola helps Power Phoenixes strategically.

Final Take

This episode is about the amalgamation of risky gameplay and political games within the house. The fights on Aar Ya Paar jeopardize the immunities while the victory at the auction provides Vikash with some authority in the house. Moreover, Aarush's shield enables him to save Madhuja. Nonetheless, the accusations of Ridey against Mannat are the main cliffhangers of the show.
