Modha Rathri

Modha Rathri is a lighthearted rural comedy-drama centered on Maruthanayagam and Muthuselvi, two unfamiliar faces who enter into an arranged marriage in a village in South Tamil Nadu. The story unfolds entirely during their first night as a married couple, when what should be a simple beginning quickly turns chaotic. A series of amusing misunderstandings, concealed truths and unexpected lies creates one awkward situation after another. As the night progresses, the newlyweds find themselves caught in a whirlwind of confusion, laughter and surprising revelations that put their new relationship to an unusual test.
