SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan and Joshua have officially revealed the schedule for their upcoming unit debut as JxJ. The duo will release their first mini album, DREAMSCAPE, on October 19 at 6 p.m. KST, marking their debut as SEVENTEEN’s newest unit.

PLEDIS Entertainment also unveiled the first teaser and announced that pre-orders for DREAMSCAPE began on September 23 at 11 a.m. KST. The agency described the album as a project exploring the space between dreams, fantasies and reality.

Jeonghan And Joshua Officially Form JxJ

JxJ brings two SEVENTEEN members together for a new musical chapter. The unit name combines the initial letters of Jeonghan and Joshua, who have now been confirmed to make their highly anticipated debut following several other SEVENTEEN subunits.

The duo’s October release had previously been announced in July, when PLEDIS Entertainment confirmed that Jeonghan and Joshua were preparing for a unit debut during the fall. Jeonghan returned from military service in June after being the first SEVENTEEN member to enlist in September 2024.

DREAMSCAPE Explores Dreams And Reality

According to PLEDIS, DREAMSCAPE refers to a landscape of dreams and explores two forms of dreaming: unconscious fantasies and ideals that people hope to turn into reality. The album is designed around the collision between these two ideas, with the boundary between fantasy and reality gradually becoming unclear.

The agency said Jeonghan and Joshua will present themselves as dreamers moving between both worlds. This concept is also reflected in the promotional material, which introduces a mysterious and atmospheric visual identity for the new unit.

JxJ Unveils Teaser And Promotional Schedule

Alongside the debut announcement, JxJ released its first teaser for DREAMSCAPE. The newly revealed schedule includes a series of promotional contents leading up to the album release, including concept material, teaser videos, track-related updates and additional content.

The schedule builds toward the release of the album and its official music video on October 19 at 6 p.m. KST. Fans can therefore expect multiple stages of promotions before the duo officially enters the unit debut period. Pre-orders for the first mini album are already underway, with official Weverse listings confirming October 19 as the release date. The album is set to be available in different versions, including Daydreamers and Dreamchasers.

SEVENTEEN’s Unit Activities Continue With JxJ

JxJ follows a growing list of SEVENTEEN units that have allowed members to explore different musical identities. Previous units include JxW, HxW, CxM, DxS and V8, with Jeonghan and Joshua now becoming the latest pair to receive a dedicated project.

Joshua has also been active with his own music ahead of the unit debut. He released the digital single “Baby Come Home” on September 22 in Chinese and English versions. With DREAMSCAPE, Jeonghan and Joshua are now preparing to introduce a distinct concept as JxJ while remaining part of SEVENTEEN’s wider group activities.

Final Take

Jeonghan and Joshua have set October 19 as the official debut date for their JxJ unit, with DREAMSCAPE serving as their first mini album. With its dream-and-reality concept and detailed promotional schedule, the project is now moving into its full debut countdown.
