Speaking to Variety India, Rhea shared that watching the intense media coverage and legal proceedings surrounding Aryan Khan's arrest reminded her of her brother, Showik Chakraborty, who was also arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) during the 2020 drug investigation.

According to Rhea, seeing Aryan go through a similar situation triggered old memories. She said that the circumstances appeared strikingly familiar to what her family had experienced when her brother was taken into custody and later cleared by the court.
