According to reports, the celebrated actor suffered a severe cardiac arrest at his residence in Goa on the morning of October 8, 2026. Despite medical efforts to revive him, he could not be saved. Doctors at the hospital reportedly made extensive efforts to revive the actor. However, his condition remained critical and he could not be resuscitated. Reports suggest that the medical team performed CPR for nearly 45 minutes in an attempt to save his life.

Doctors Tried to Revive the Actor for 45 Minutes

According to Dr. Shekhar Salkar, head of the oncology department at Manipal Hospital, Nana Patekar suffered a severe cardiac arrest at his residence. The medical team continued resuscitation efforts for approximately 45 minutes, but their attempts were unsuccessful.

Reports have also indicated that a medico-legal case (MLC) has been registered in connection with the actor's death. Further formal details are expected after the completion of the post-mortem process.
