Hanuman Ansh is set to arrive in Telugu theatres worldwide on October 9, 2026, with Hombale Films taking charge of the film’s Telugu release. The announcement comes after the spiritual drama built a strong theatrical run following its Hindi release in August.
Written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, the film is based on the book Divine Detour and explores the life and spiritual journey of revered figure Shri Neeb Karori Baba.
Hanuman Ansh Locks October 9 Telugu Release
The Telugu version of Hanuman Ansh will release worldwide on October 9. The makers had earlier planned a September 18 Telugu rollout, but that release did not materialise as scheduled. The new October date now gives Telugu-speaking audiences an opportunity to watch the spiritual drama on the big screen.
Hombale Films is handling the worldwide theatrical release of the Telugu version. The announcement comes as the film continues its theatrical journey in other markets and expands its reach into another major Indian-language audience.
Film Explores Neem Karoli Baba's Spiritual Journey
At the centre of Hanuman Ansh is a young man named Lakshminarayan, who begins searching for answers after the death of his mother. His journey takes him across North India as he attempts to understand questions surrounding faith, life, death and human suffering.
As the story progresses, Lakshminarayan's spiritual journey transforms him into the revered saint Neem Karoli Baba. The film explores themes of devotion, faith, service and spiritual awakening while presenting the character's journey through a cinematic narrative. The project is presented by Swambhu Media Network and takes inspiration from the book Divine Detour.

Vishal Chaturvedi has written and directed the project, while Ragini S, Namrata G Singh, Anupriya A Nagar and Chaturvedi have produced it. Made on a reported budget of around ₹2 crore, the film focuses heavily on its characters and spiritual themes rather than a large-scale commercial presentation.
Hanuman Ansh Crosses ₹400 Crore Worldwide
The Telugu release arrives after an extended theatrical run for Hanuman Ansh. The film was originally released in Hindi on August 9, 2026, and its box office performance grew substantially after a slow opening. The spiritual drama has now crossed the ₹400 crore mark worldwide, a significant milestone considering its reported ₹2 crore production budget.
Its continued run has helped the film attract attention well beyond its initial release market. The Telugu version now aims to take that story to a wider audience, with the October 9 worldwide release putting the film in another regional market.
