Aamir Khan can become yet another Bollywood star to feature in the blockbuster Race series. According to a news item in the Filmfare website, the actor is said to have been approached for the leading role in Race 4 and he has already heard the story. With Aamir reportedly liking the script, there is definitely an exciting new development for the action-thriller franchise.
The movie is also likely to be helmed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the director of Dhoom 3, which had starred Aamir Khan in the lead role. In case the reported casting along with director's name proves to be true, the two can reunite for yet another big-budget action movie.
Aamir Khan Reportedly Approached For Race 4
As per the report, Aamir Khan has been approached for being the star of Race 4. It is said that he has gone through the script and has liked it, as well. On the other hand, nothing has been confirmed officially from the side of Aamir Khan, the makers of the film or the production team.
At this stage, his inclusion is purely on the basis of reports of the development. If he joins hands with the film, then the entire character of the film series can change owing to his habit of choosing his films wisely and playing varied characters.
Vijay Krishna Acharya May Reunite With Aamir
The reports about Race 4 indicate that this film will be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. Earlier, this filmmaker has also worked in collaboration with Aamir Khan for Dhoom 3, and the reports of his collaboration with Aamir have made it very interesting.
This filmmaker has a past of making films which were based on large scale action entertainment. And his previous association with Aamir can bring curiosity regarding their joint venture in this film. Their joint venture may also indicate that they are trying to make something different in this series rather than sticking to the old formula.
