Vijay Patkar is a veteran Indian actor and director celebrated for his impeccable comedic timing in both Marathi and Hindi cinema. He began his acting journey during college with theater before making his silver screen debut in N. Chandra’s 1988 hit Tezaab. Heavily inspired by Charlie Chaplin's physical comedy, Patkar went on to deliver memorable comic performances in major Bollywood films like Golmaal 3, Singham, and Wanted. Beyond acting, he has successfully directed over ten movies and serves as the President of the Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Chitrapat Mahamandal.
