Set against the backdrop of India’s 1975 Emergency, Dial 1975 follows a defiant rebel leader who acquires a cutting-edge wireless telephone secretly brought in from Germany at the request of a powerful government figure. Originally intended as a tool for surveillance, the device becomes a crucial weapon for the resistance. As he attempts to use it to outsmart the authorities and organize a rebellion, he finds himself caught between government forces and dangerous criminals, both determined to get their hands on the phone and a huge stash of money. What follows is a tense battle of survival, power and betrayal.
