Ayushmann Khurrana returns with a completely unusual spy story in the trailer of Udta Teer, where he plays a Pakistani intelligence operative who loses his memory and starts believing that he is an Indian officer. The trailer introduces Ayushmann as Bilal Ahmad, an accomplished Pakistani spy sent to India on a mission. Everything changes after an accident leaves him with memory loss.
Bilal forgets his real identity and begins to believe that he is an Indian. His confusion becomes the central source of the film's comedy, while his Pakistani handlers desperately try to make him remember who he really is.

It goes one step further when Bilal begins believing himself to be an officer of the Indian Counter-Terrorism Squad, whose mission is to protect the nation. This is evident from the fact that he assists the authorities in locating spies from Pakistan.
Using such a twist in the plot, the trailer combines elements of action and situational humor. Instead of portraying Bilal’s identity change as a suspenseful element of a spy thriller movie, the film seems to derive most of its humor from Bilal’s utter confusion regarding who he really is.

Sara Ali Khan Adds Another Layer To The Spy Story
Sara Ali Khan appears alongside Ayushmann as a Counter-Terrorism Squad officer. Her character is involved in helping Bilal understand his supposed past, although the trailer keeps several details about her role under wraps.
The film reunites Ayushmann and Sara after their previous collaboration in Pati Patni Aur Woh Do. Their new pairing takes them into a very different setting, with the trailer promising an unusual combination of espionage and comedy.
