Our Sticky Love Review: A Strange Mix That Surprisingly Works

The biggest strength of Our Sticky Love lies in its genre mixture. In addition to romance, the series is mixed with comedy, drama, and crime and offers an unusual narrative compared to typical Korean romantic drama. The amnesia narrative provides an intriguing premise for the romance. Eun-sae must entrust herself to a stranger, while at the same time, viewers do not know for sure whether Tae-ha wants to protect his love or hide something more ominous from her.

The comedy fits perfectly in lighter parts of the drama. The clash of Eun-sae's elegant nature with the rugged Tae-ha's character makes the scenes funny enough. Nonetheless, the series can be inconsistent in switching from comedic to more serious aspects of the plot.
