Anakapalli is a good crime-action movie with a strong first half. The second half has some good moments, especially the 3-4 min non stop dialogue scene between the hero and heroine, where the acting and writing stand out.

Anakapalli Review: Familiar Story, Strong Performances
The biggest weakness of Anakapalli is that its basic story feels familiar. Rural action dramas built around gangsters, revenge, family emotions and romance have been explored many times before, and the film does not bring enough new ideas to the formula.
The first half takes its time establishing the characters and their relationships. The romance works reasonably well, but the extended setup slows the pace at times. The film becomes more interesting around the interval. The twist gives the story a stronger direction and raises the stakes for the second half.
The writing remains predictable even after that point, but the movie benefits from its emotional moments and commercial treatment. It knows the kind of audience it is targeting and gives them action, sentiment and hero moments without trying to become something completely different.

Vikram Sahidev and Tarak Ponnappa Stand Out
Vikram Sahidev makes a confident impression in the lead role. He handles the action sequences well and also gets enough emotional scenes to show a softer side of his character. His strongest moments come in the family portions, particularly the mother-son scenes. There is a certain maturity in his performance that helps him carry the film despite the familiar material.
Tarak Ponnappa is effective as the antagonist. His physical presence and aggressive performance make the hero-villain confrontations more impactful. Sandhya Vasishta adds charm to the romantic portions, and the chemistry between her and Vikram works well enough. The supporting cast, including Indraja and Trinadha Rao Nakkina, also provides solid support.
Technically, Davzand's background score is one of the film's stronger elements. It adds energy to the action sequences and helps elevate the major dramatic moments. The cinematography captures the rural setting effectively, while the action sequences become more impactful in the second half. However, the editing could have been tighter, especially during the slower portions of the first half.

Super 1st half with a good second half. There is a 2 mins dialogue in the second half, between the lead pair the dialogues and writing is good. Tarak Ponnappa as villian TFI Baga use cheskovachu percent ga unnadu. The hero also acted… https://t.co/s7kA4tVM0Z
Final Verdict
Anakapalli is a familiar rural action drama that relies more on performances and commercial moments than originality. The screenplay follows a well-known template, but the film finds enough energy in its characters, action and emotional sequences to remain watchable.
Vikram Sahidev makes a promising impression in the lead role, while Tarak Ponnappa adds weight to the antagonist character. The interval twist, background score and emotional family scenes are among the film's better elements.
The predictable writing and slow first half prevent Anakapalli from becoming a memorable rural action film. Still, viewers who enjoy traditional Telugu commercial cinema may find it entertaining, particularly for its performances and second-half action.
